Indigenous Communities

Nordik also partners with the Government of Canada to provide nursing services to 25 of the Indigenous Communities within the Province of Ontario. Working in a small nursing station, each day is different and exciting, allowing you to work to the full scope of your nursing ability. A general day could see you start with a child with an earache and finish with an emergency Medivac. We offer our 2 weeks online Nordik Training Programme to help ensure that you are fully prepared for your time in the communities.

English is mainly spoken there as a common language, but some communities have their own language. These requests have an average of 2 weeks & are so off the beaten track that most communities are fly-in only.
